Cark, is it under water yet?

Chambers is a gay bar with 15-20 years

Had another name but there another long time

I might be thinking of a different place along that side of the street.

Having lived in both Limerick and Cork for extended period of time I wouldn’t find much difference between the two with regard to the quality of boozers. They’re both very good.

There’s only one Jackie Lennox’s
The rest are all vastly inferior

It’s clear that Bob is on the wind up or hasn’t a clue about Cork boozers, there’s too many to mention, You can hardly go wrong

Would they welcome a gang of lads in moks

They would not indeed,
Calanans is the place, Idle hour and on to sextant for the early afternoon to evening, the oval for later pints and a bit more life, but the options are endless really

During the day they would. They’d hunt them once the locals come in

Callanans keeps unusual opening hours. Savage pint in there tbf. Bring the rings

Are/were you below in Drom tonight, it’s madder those fuckers are getting, how there was nobody injured I’ll never know

I was below alright. Got a burger in Tastybites and went home then. Twas mad enough alright. Pure roasters! I took a few photos. I’ll post them in the roaster thread in a bit :slightly_smiling_face:

Used to be very cheap for a pint as well.

Fake. The chippers in Midleton are uniformly shit, including the once great Keohanes (cant be arsed spelling it in Irish)

haven’t been in Keoghans in donkeys years. I always thought that was overrated, he got by on the novelty he only opened for a couple hours a day.

I think you’re right about chippers in Midleton.

They’ve moved on from chippers in Midleton, lovely town to eat out in now.
I played soccer with one of the Keohanes one time but I don’t think I ever had the chips

I did as well. Full back or centre half. Small sized fella but good player.

If I was going out for a meal I’d bring herself into Cork, or over to London. Never struck me to go to Midleton

Sage in Midleton is top class. They have some rule everything is sourced within 10 miles of the resteraunt

The Anchor Bar , east hill, Cobh for a real local vibe

Farm gate is great as well, simple but great execution, I’ve heard Ferrit and Lee is good and that pizza place is outstanding
