yeah. I was in it a few times. Seems to be a rugby pub. Decent pint in it.
it would be allright, hence my lack of frequent drinking there, if i was walking in from the parents’s place down the town allright you might pop in there, id be more asociated with the more working class pubs like Tarrants in the square
I only ever went in there because friends of ours are locals and when we visited them they’d be going there. I only ever had one real big night out in Cobh. Started in the Rob Roy and finished in the Comm.
yeah that’s a well trodden path over the years allright
some of the pubs on he main street there are a bit edgy to say the least, The rob would be grand tho
Cobh has a great edge to it. Mind your P’s and Q’s and you’ll be grand. I played ball with a lot of Cobh lads and always found them sound, hard, but sound
I’m only good with faces, not with online pseudonyms
Were any of the Cobh lads international mercenaries/middle east soccer experts/computer chip gurus?
I only played ball with them, I didn’t take them out on dates
I’d say if you’d met Mickee you’d remember him.
I’m a few years behind Mickee I think
By Irish town standards, Midleton does well in terms of restaurants. Its the towns only redeeming quality. Finins, Sage, Farmgate most notably. Some good cafes around as well.
ah there’s good stock around Midleton as well.
I had a lovely lunch at the Quays in Cobh when I was last back home. Highly recommended.
Were the portions big enough for you?
Big Bob Ryan stepping down as Operations Manager of Pairc Ui Chaoimh. Another stalwart, like Frank, calling it a day.
Getting out before hassle i’d say
“Stepping down”
Why wait till then? Is the place hosting games soon?
