The Times Ireland is ceasing publication of its print edition and making most of the staff redundant. They’re keeping 3 journalists on to work on “Oirish” stories for the digital edition of the international edition.
That’s a real pity.
It’s my Sunday paper of choice.
It was one of the dumbest ideas of all time
The Sunday Times Ireland will be UNAFFECTED. It’s the Times Ireland daily edition that’s ceasing publication.

The journalists are doing a fine job of exterminating themselves. Articles composed entirely of tweets seems to pass for journalism today
It’s a hive of plagiarism in journalism these days.
Good. I love to see journalists being made redundant.
People in the main aren’t willing to pay for journalism any more
If people aren’t willing to pay for journalism they shouldn’t moan when they end up with shit far right politicians who take away their freedom and pander to a corporate disinformation agenda
Because that is the inevitable outcome
Yes . There has been very little in the media warning about trump , Brexit , Peter Casey etc …
Those who vote for the far right despise journalism
Journalism has always been the enemy of the far right
The far right press is not journalism
Lolzers.
It’s all part of a bigger plan to create a world of slave drones (formerly known as people).
I think some people do indeed have such a plan
They are the exact people who claim that others have such a plan - ie. the far right
Brexit, Trump and the rest of the far right in Europe are indeed projects to make slave drones of people
The fact that their supporters pretty much all act like brainwashed slave drones tells you all you need to know
What exactly is the ‘far right’?
