Celeb Spotting 🐐

Thought Noel Whelan played for Coventry? Could have declared for Ireland but held out for the three lions and got nowhere.

Who: Actor Robert Carrickford
Famous for: Playing Stephen Brennan in that long running agricultural soap Glenroe
When: Today, 5pm.
Where: Pearse St Station
Wearing: Tweed Suit, rather like his character.
Other Information: Mr Carrickford looked rather bewildered as he strolled around the platform.

Big Dan and medium sized Ken seem to have slipped through the spot police net…

Faroe Islands manager and Setanta clown Brian Kerr in Bruxelles last night - he’s quare small

Is he always out on the town? Does he be throwing it into young ones or what?

Who: Willie O’Dea.
Where: The dock road, Limerick.
When: During the week.
Famous for: Being a political bulldog from the County of Limerick.
Wearing: A suit and a full-lenght jacket.
Other: Willie was looking very smart in his attire. As we passed each other on a quiet footpath i nodded at him approvingly. He looked down at his shiny shoes. Prick.

Former Wexford hurling legend was sat in front of me at a Wexford game at the weekend. Does this count?

no for 2 reasons
reason 1 - ex player at a game = not a spot
reason 2- no stick hurler is a celeb apart from maybe DJ & Sean Og

depends on who the player was

a normal(ie urban) person wouldnt know any wexford stick hurler or rural football partcipant past or present so not a spot

He must live in there, seen him in there twice myself in the last six months.

Harsh.

What about seeing the Wexford team out in a pub?

Michel Martin outside the Evergreen in Cork last Friday around 6pm (canvassing for someone else so technically not working), and Gay Mitchell earlier today (in his own personalised car outside the Irish Times office so possibly not a spot).

Who David Kitt
Famous for:Hes a singer
When:Yesterday at around 8.50pm
Where:Walking by Lenihans Bar,Inistioge
Wearing:a grey top, black drainpipe jeans and gimpy looking converse type runners, they were a colourful version,in short crusty looking.
Other Info:I was outside the pub finishing off one of the biggest bank holiday weekend sessions ive had for a long time when David walked up the hill past us,he looked tired. He was playing in Thomastown the night before and id suspect he had beer in him,he got into a 98 D Red VW Golf and drove it away,a scruffy looking hoor really.

Good spot.
