That’s a death that has shocked me.
Not many people know this but Dolores was a big fan of Fraserburgh FC.
It would be a lovely tribute to her if they played Zombie over the tannoy ahead of the cup game with Rangers at the weekend.

RIP. Not a well lady for some time I believe.
Her music wasn’t really my thing but there was alot worse out there and they sold millions worldwide so fair play.
I remember being in Flannerys on Wexford St the night we scored 5 against Waterford in the 2007 semi and the DJ blasted out ‘Dreams’. The opening bars of it never sounded so good and the drunken Limerick supporters erupted

“What’s Another Year?” …or 2 in Limerick’s case as 2010 was a write off.
This one makes me very sad, the second album was one that really worked for me, such a lovely voice and a really good lyricist when she wanted to be, I love the ‘hit the town on Friday night, stay in bed then till Sunday’ line, says it all about gaining responsibilities
