I remember going to school he was one of the members of the past pupils union that was always used as a role model; very sad day.

Didn’t realise you were that old, pal. The Taribo West of TFK AFC.
A real gent. He was very generous with his time for younger people trying to get into sports journalism. Such a loss
Tears on the Six-one news.
From who?
Sharon.
They came back from a montage of him and her voice was shaky as she tried to start a new report and there were tears in the eyes. She kept it together well.
She’s still shaky here…
An unfortunate choice of words there mate.
Colm Murray genuinely did seem like a really nice person and motor neuron disease must be absolutely horrific to deal with. RIP Colm.
Sad to hear about Colm Murray. Bumped into him at the Galway Races years ago and he was sound out, chatted away for ages. RIP.
People on Facebook (particularly birds) having a grief fest tonight when they know very little about the man or horse racing. Just wanting to seem compassionate and outdo each other on the sympathy scale.
My mother was diagnosed with motor neuron the week before Colm Murray. She lasted 19 months but was older. Terrible way to go is all I say.
Sorry to hear that Locke.
Sorry to hear that Lockes.
Is there any footage around on the internet of Apres Match’s tremendously funny piss-take of Colm?
