Richard Moller-Nielsen, Denmark’s 1992 European Championship-winning manager, has died aged 76… It’s been a bad fortnight for European Championship-winning managers. I’d be getting worried if I was Otto Rehhagel or Berti Vogts.

Must have been a big age. He was a star in the 50’s FFS. Preston were in the top flight then.

He was 91. A lancashire legend. He was offered a shit load of money to go to italy but the chairman of preston wouldn’t have it. Half a million alone in a signing on fee in todays money
