Limericks woe as Terry gone

the streams of people into City Hall to sign the book of condolences today would say otherwise.
A proud limerick man who did us proud.

We will get either a large statue now someplace prominent in the city or maybe name someplace after him.

some outpouring of grief and emotion here in the city today, and also in the media, I never realised in just what esteem Sir Terry was held in, unreal respect, the struggles he endured in Britain is an inspiration to everyone

+1
Terry gave out a lot more soup then he ever took. Children in need alone has raised over 800 million sterling

I believe his greatest accolade though was managing to hold the respect and trust of the English middle classes at a time when to being Irish in the UK was akin to being a Jew in Nazi Germany.
He was a decent man.

Lord Lucan

And he only looking so healthy the other day.

It says it all about sir Terry that he never took a penny for his role as unpaid ambassador
