Its a tough one for the rugby community mate. An uncle of mine was very good friends with Neville’s late father. He was killed in a traffic accident in Wexford just over three years ago.
What was Neville Furlong’s illness? 49 is an awfully young age to die. I think his name came up randomly in conversation on here within the past year.
Cancer is all thats being said. Died in Milford Hospice, one of JP’s legacy’s to Limerick. RIP.

He had cancer. You made a very insightful observation on his try against New Zealand in 1992 which was repeated in almost all reports of his untimely passing over the last 24 hours.
