Celebrity Deaths - 2017

I’d say Graham was the type of grandfather who always had a packet of sweets on him for when his grandkids were around and as soon as they were leaving he’d push a five pound note into their hand unbeknownst to their parents. A very kind man.

Poor auld Graham got dogs abuse at that time.

Fuck sake, that’s last year.

The England job is some grave yard for a managers career. Hoddle,Veneables, Taylor, Hodgson, Sven etc. big Sam knew the score.

Sorry to hear that . He showed himself a good sort dealing with Paul McGrath .

He really showed that whiskey nosed scottish prick up for what he was, thats for sure.

When did Fabio Cappello die? Awful news, great manager of a great Milan side. RIP.

Also Hoddle, Erikson and Hodgson, have they died too? fuck you 2017!

Elton is losing them from all sides, he’s not long for this world either at this rate.

Tony Daley was another one capped by Graham Taylor.

Incidentally, here’s what he looks like today

i felt a bit sad there when i read that
a thoroughly decent man
that was a good team Villa had in 90-91,. great pundit on 5live also
wasnt it alexis lalas who sprang to fame after he scored v england in a pre usa94 friendly prompting the sun to call him a turnip
ill never forget that night holland beat england in 93 in the feyenoord stadium in rotterdam in the qualifiers, Koeman’s free kick, Brian Moore on ITV, crowd trouble, that old stadium and Graham Taylor at the helm, football as it should be

RIP Graham

Koeman should have been sent off before scoring the freekick. Was it a cynical take down outside the box or something? Was it the incident that led to “professional fouls” becoming red card offences or was the controversy that the referee didn’t apply what was then a relatively new rule and bottled the sending off? I can’t remember.

FFS ,
what an occsaion, what a fucking game
the needle,…

I recall koeman fouling David Platt and should have been sent off in an international.

It may or may not be the game you’re referring to

Daley was deserving of a few caps, there’s been far worse capped than him. Did anybody mention Geoff Thomas.

Graham seemed like a thoroughly alright sort, Phil Neal made him look like a dope with his own shittyarseness. Graham was akways good on today FM and anytime I herd him speak.
His club record was superb, mourinho or Conte wouldn’t have done what he did.

Heard.
