A bit needy
Fuck you July 10th, fuck you
Bottler died on the 11th, donât pin this on the 10th you cunt.
Is there a Michael Whelan a councillor in Wexford? I canât place one. Noel Whelanâs death is one of those surprising thread entries - a very young man.

RIP Brendan Grace. If nothing else his performance in Father Ted will go down in the legends. I heard him say before that he played Fr Fintan Stack like a very aggressive Liberace. Clearly gifted.
@Big_Dan_Campbell did you ever go into his pub in Killaloe? Youâd hardly know it was him that owned it eh? Very understated.
Twas.
A friend of mineâs Dad passed away almost 20 years ago at a young age (early 40s). He was in hospital in Dublin getting treatment, and Grace came to visit him (they would have had family in Killaloe) and snuck in a pint of Guinness. He also brought in Packie Bonner and Mick McCarthy to see him, as the dying man was a big football fan. Brendan was an alright sort
Brother. Theyâre from Ballycullane. Noel was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia only back in April, completely out of the blue. Shocking. RIP
Back to back wickets
Poor Noel. RIP
An outstanding political pundit.
It was a shrine and for a while it was a thriving pub pulling huge crowds. The timing and size of the extension just as the recession was looming and the death of Big Tom who was in essence running it for him pretty much finished the place went downhill fairly quick.
He was a fair man to sog porter himself when there. He didnât seem the worst of them but definitely a bit of a print of the axel about him
Really enjoyed his analysis on count day. His accent was a refreshing reprise from the banal D4 media accent. He was a straight talker who had a cut off everyone even though he was a diehard FF. His book the detailing the candidates in the 2016 election was an informed read. I was looking forward to an updated version. RIP.
He must have abused himself a fair bit. He had a stroke a few years back which affected his speech and now lung cancer and dead at 68.
Did a few big nights in it and heâd be hanging around there from time to time over the summers. Shur in essence the only reason he really bought it was to have somewhere to drink and entertain when there. The sheer amount of photos of him on the walls though, by god.
Thatâs very sad about Noel Whelan and very unexpected. I wouldnât have agreed him on plenty of things but he was outstanding during the same sex marriage referendum debate and did a lot to win over waverers. There was an incredible decency and generosity of spirit to his contributions to that debate.
Thereâs a lot of virtue signaling going on this morning, were Brendanâs nearest and dearest on Twitter all of last night?
RIP I used to love him on the Sunday night st the Gaiety as a young fella, recall him singing âThe Dutchmanâ quite beautifully
I hope Celtic supporters give Brendan a good send off with a rousing rendition of âGraceâ next Wednesday.
