Great band
Their old bluesy stuff is top class before they ever became the 80s rock band they most famous for.
Oh ya. Eliminator and Afterburner thought good albums were commercialised for 80s MTV
Rip Dusty. I had the hat on the other day and the sun behind me there was a shadow on the patio and between the hat, the glasses and the beard I was put in mind of Dusty. It might have been his spirit taking off to the next dimension.
Terry Cooper. The Leeds legends have been departing at a rate of knots over the last year and a bit.
@mick_jones must be one of the few hanging on at this stage.
Mick Jones, Sniffer Clarke and Johnny Giles.
Eddie Gray too.
David Harvey the goalkeeper is still alive but I would have always considered Gary Sprake to be the goalkeeper in the classic Leeds line up, the one that hardly ever played together because Paul Madeley was always in there somewhere on the pitch.
Paul Reaney is still alive too, I think.
I must mark him down on the “I thought they were dead but are actually alive” thread. Was sure he had died years ago.
Viv Anderson is often noted as the first black player to play for England but it was actually Reaney.
Dennis Thomas - Kool & the gang - RIP
Was he Kool or just one of the Gang.
Una Stubbs
I fucking hated Wurzel Gummidge. Fuck her and fuck Aunt Sally.
Bed of Heaven to her.
He was one of the gang
Ah jaysus
Shit, that’ll be a blow to my wife, Trouble in the fields is her party piece
Great voice, always had a great following here
