big time
Who’s going to be the odd man out shouldering the coffin?
Sure the box of silk cut purple is the car in the
re-enactment.
He was a fine singer too. May he rest in peace
Is the ‘Puddin Box’ still a thing outside in Hospital?
I’ve never had a pudding box. I can’t consider myself a true roaster.
Is it just black and white pudding in a box with chips?
That sounds delish. Had never heard of it.
Yea, I had one, one morning at O’Rourkes Cross years ago, at about that time.
Sorted me out after the night before and for the long day ahead.
I used work with a lad from Hospital who’s mother had a pub out there. They used make their own black puddings and feed them to the lads in the bar. Had them myself a few times and they were top notch.
Anyway, his meat grinder broke down and he asked me out to have a look at it. We got it going after a while, but when we did, the smell and the maggots that came out. It was cruel. I genuinely nearly got sick.
He said they had to stop making them soon after for health and safety reasons. They’d need a food license.
They were the only pub to stay open during the day, even back then.
I wonder if the mother is still alive?
Would you be known as an expert on meat grinders?
Died not so long ago
Lovely woman but well able for all the day customers too. There was an article in The Examiner about her a number of years ago. Must have been a good age.

Not really. I couldn’t even spell it.
Motors are no problem. Induction, steppers, servo. I’ve done them all.
And no I don’t do AC/DC.
