Did he not write the fcukin thing !
Depends who you believe.
Disgusted with it!
That was The Shining.
Interesting the Trump fanboys are quick to go into hiding after Trumps disgusting reaction yesterday
Contrast this with the hand wringing after Charlie Kirkās murder.
Gas cunts.
I bet FIFA will really be reconsidering that medal now.
John Robertson Forest and MONās assistant manager
Possibly the most gloriously stereotypical Scottish footballer ever.
A proper Scottish name, came from the cradle of Scottish football in coal mining country in North Lanarkshire which is very near Glasgow but not in Glasgow, mercurial, tubby, slow, brilliant, a European Cup winner with an English team, couldnāt get it done at the World Cup, despite being a legend left an impression he still underachieved, loved smoking, drinking and eating pies, and later fell into ill health.
One of Johnny Gilesās favourite players.
The sort of player who was an utter cornerstone on which the greatness of the greatest era of English club football was built, and a titan of the game.
Give him a ball and a yard of grass
Gilesy often maintained that he was the only midfielder he saw who could dictate the play from the wing.
Chris Rea seemed like a terrific fella altogether. Yet to hear anybody apart from Alan Partridge say a bad word about him.
The greatest Forest player ever, and the greatest player in Europe for a few seasons. The King bows out on the Kingās birthday. The bed of heaven to him.
Nigel Clough I think
Great player. Two of his goals that I always remember are the winner in the 1980 European Cup Final against Hamburg and the winning penalty for Scotland against England in 1981. His Nottingham Forest teammate Trevor Francis went in for a long discussion with Joe Corrigan before the penalty was taken. Presumably some insider knowledge on what to expect from a Robertson penalty and which way to dive. Robbo after made to wait forever dispatched the penalty sending Corrigan the wrong way.
I saw that earlier. That Scotland kit was glorious. I hope Scotland have their proper colours of navy jerseys, white shorts and red socks for the next World Cup.
John Robertson was a Rangers supporter growing up but was an intergral part of the greatest Celtic era of my lifetime.
POWER RANKINGS of songs by Irish bands about Scottish footballers who have won English league titles and later coached Celtic:
- Give Him A Ball And A Yard Of Grass by The Sultans Of Ping F.C.
- Strachan by The Hitchers
- Dalg On A Lish by The Gobshites (a yet to be written song by my yet to be formed band)
