While Trevor Francis was my favourite player growing up, I adored John Robertson. He didnât look at at like the player he was, fast, creative, skilled , intelligent. The cross to Francis against Malmo and the goal against Hamburg were typical of the ambition of Robbo when he played. He was a joy to watch.
How many times I ran up a wing with a ball when I was a kid pretending to be Robbo.
Vale, probably the greatest player in Nottingham Forestâs history. The world is a little bit less interesting today.

One of the great TV characters.
A politician who was unashamedly corrupt. Many of those around in Ireland back in the day.
It was very amusing when Carcetti was looking to get a meeting with Clay to discuss mutual political priorities.
His aide told him that the only thing Clay was interested in was the coin.
Carcetti couldnât believe it and said that Clay must have some social conscience.
The aide was exasperated trying to tell Carcetti that Clay was only interested in bribes.

A very sad day for anyone with shares in groundbreaking IT company, Blue Dolphin. Actor David Heap aka Donal Maher has passed away. This should be in the significant deaths thread actually but too late.
