Not a very inspiring piece of news, it has to said.
I can’t see ye being inspired by any of the news regarding this appointment to be honest Bandage.
What realistic appointments would the fans be happy with do ya think? Moyes and Coyle look unlikely and even they would hardly set the hearts a flutter.
COyle was just asked about the Celtic job- as a gorbals lad id say he’d jump at the chance
Alistair Campbell: And just put us out of our misery, you would rather be here than Celtic.
Coyle: In answer to your question, and its hypothetical anyway, but what I would say is, since the first day I came here, I mean ye see the fans here tonight, theyve got behind me, the team, again the players go deliver on the park each and everyday they are a joy to work with and they do that because they have an unbelievable support who are there for them through thick and thin. Thank you.
any of our more informed (thinly veiled not you NCC) posters have an inkling as to the possible salary on offer?
would it be comparable to the going EPL rate?

Thinly veiled, ‘I’m fooking dying to join Celtic’ from Coyle there.
I know a guy who scouts for Burnley and he says Coyle is preparing to resign. What this means I don’t know. I assume the Celtic job.
Indeed looks that way. If its down to him and Moyes I’d go for Coyle I reckon.
funny as fuck to see the Glasgow celtic faithful creaming themselves at the thought of landing some lad whose managerial highlights are winning promotion to the SPL and EPL.

Celtic tend to pay managers well (Strachan and O’Neill anyway). Not sure about EPL rates but would compare favourably to most European clubs I’d say.
Steve Coppell anyone?
his victory over the huns at Ibrox is a good selling point
how many of those had strachan and ye wanted him out?
fuck all
really? he had no wins over Rangers but still won 3 titles in a row?
whats Coyles record in Europe like, is it comparable to Strachans?

can you not follow a post- i said his victory over the huns at Ibrox:rolleyes:
Anglo-Italian Cup medal winner 91-92
so one single victory over Rangers in a Cup competition at ibrox is reason enough to give him the Glasgow Celtic job?
is that all you want?
