New manager Jackie McNamara faces an uphill task to turn things around, with no Champions League football and wealthy upstarts The The Rangers qualifying for the Premier Division for the first time.

Champions Aberdeen still look the team they all have to beat.

We should be a bit stronger with the Caldwell brothers as centre backs.

Just curious to know, when the winter break happens in the pub league, do the players return to playing darts for the month?

Why, are you looking to offload Reid?

Why would a footballer of PL quality want to play in the SPL

Why isn’t he playing in the PL then?

He played there, and failed, for the following clubs

Tottenham Hotspur
Charlton Athletic
Sunderland
Sheffield United
Blackpool

He just wants a quiet life now at a midrange Championship outfit where he can play a few flashy passes and get lauded by its desperate fans as some sort of genius, when in truth he was nothing more than a lazy fucker who pissed away any talent he had many many years ago.

Is he out injured for the rest of the season yet?

If you think he failed at Charlton and Sunderland, then it’s obvious you didn’t watch him at either club.

Just a couple of weeks Mac. Don’t fret.

The darts on the side could work out well, help Andy get the cash to fulfill his dream of opening a chip shop with Lee Trundle and Dean Windass

Celtic are a good call for Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard says Stefan Johansen

STEFAN JOHANSEN has urged Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard to snub Europe’s elite and join him at Celtic.

Johansen and Odegaard speak regularly
The Hoops midfielder is in regular contact with his former Stromsgodset team-mate and believes his compatriot would be better suited moving to Scotland.
Attacking midfielder Odegaard, who turns 16 on Wednesday, is being courted by a host of European giants including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Ajax, Arsenal and Bayern Munich and already has three caps for Norway.
“I’ve talked a lot with Martin,” said Johansen. “We keep in touch and speak on the phone.
“He’s a patient boy and is very mature in the way he thinks.
“He has to take the best step for his career. To say that you are going to go and play at Real Madrid and compete against Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale – for a 15-year-old that’s going to be difficult.

“He would be unlikely to play right away at a Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“I have told him that Celtic would be a good choice for him.
“The way we play would suit him. We have the ball a lot and that’s what Martin likes.”
Johansen has really started to shine under Ronny Deila, and he believes if Odegaard spent a couple of seasons at Celtic it would not only give him a chance of first-team football at a high level, but prepare him for making the step up to one of the elite clubs of Europe.
“He’s been at all the big clubs in Europe and it’s probably the most insane thing I’ve seen around a 15-year-old boy,” said Johansen.
“Everybody in Norway is talking about him. It’s crazy all the stuff around him. But I am very impressed with the way he has handled it all and everything that has gone on around him.
“He is very good. He’s about to turn 16 but you can give him the ball and know he won’t lose it. He’s creative too.
“He’s young and will get stronger. Give him one or two years and he will get there on the physical side, but on the ball he is fantastic.”

I’d forgotten about him.

It appears the other top European clubs had too.

Thankfully we have Peter Lawwell to clinch such deals

New contract for Aidan Nesbitt.

What’s he been up to?
