Have the Dundee United bhoys signed yet?
Pictures of Armstrong with the Celtic fans gathered outside Celtic Park appearing on social media. He’s a good player. Happy to sign him.
Filip Twardzik has joined Bolton on a permanent deal.
I’m now following Michael Duffy on twitter, bhoys. Is he a winger or striker?

Think mostly a winger but has played up front too.
Twardzik didn’t really do enough to look like breaking through. Way off the team now.
Paul The Tim broke the signing news on twitter:

Armstrong and Mackay-Steven are now Celtic players.

You might have posted this story somewhere else lads so apologies if it’s a duplication. It’s about the 11 years old rangers fan bottled on his way to the match on Saturday

Kieran Duffy, Robert Duffy and Declan Duffy.
Very fenian sounding names, soup-taking bastards.
Stuart Armstrong is doing a law degree in his spare time. Seems like a very interesting guy and I really like his hair.

Mackay-Steven looks absolutely thrilled. The most excited signing interview since Lee Naylor. Armstrong is more coy and reserved.
I’m very excited by these two signings.

Forgot about Naylor that time. Looking forward to seeing those new bhoys.
Mackay-Steven looks like a woofter.
Kris Commons has signed a new 2-year contract with Celtic.
Denayer confirming he’ll return to City next season in the papers this morning, bit of a shame as he was developing nicely and the defence looked solid and settled in recent times.
This is a problem for us as it’s extremely likely Van Dijk will be off as well though I expect we’ll do our best to hang onto him until the CL qualifiers are over.
We look like losing our two first choice centre backs with Ambrose being an untrustworthy liability the next in line and the other two options being Mulgrew who doesn’t seem to be rated as a centre back by our last two managers and O’Connell who is an unproven youngster and one I don’t feel will ever be hood enough.
Hopefully we can get a pair of centre backs signed up before the windows opens again.

+1 to that.
There’s been a few mentions of us trying to secure a further year loan for Denayer well in advance but that’s looking increasingly unlikely and his quotes today make it even more so.
Basic hoofs up the park were causing problems for the defence when the bold Efe was playing and we’ve even much more solid lately.
It wouldn’t be ideal going into those early season important European games with a new / untested centre back partnership so keeping hold of Van Dijk until late August would be beneficial.
He’s also spoken a bit in the press about challenging himself in a bigger league but Ronny seems to have him fully focused. Danger that he loses that focus when he’s away during the close season though.
Most SPFL teams won’t be able to keep the ball when faced with Ronny’s style of high energy, hard pressing from the front so the tendency will be to go the direct route against us. We therefore need to sign at least one strong and aerially commanding centre back in the same mould as Van Dijk.

Yeah, Ronny would seem to like defenders who are quick, aggressive, composed and good on the ball. It’s going to be hard to find two of those for minimal fees in the summer.
I reckon pace is the underlying issue with why Mulgrew hasn’t played much there for Deila. Ambrose has a bit of pace and is generally ok on the ball but he is brain dead and an utterly shocking defender. I still can’t fathom why he wasn’t let go in January.
