I know ultras groups can insist upon themselves a bit but I’d tend to trust them more than the club hierarchy. The club has openly lied on several occasions lately too.
This Celtic Fans Collective isn’t just a Green Brigade creation, even though some have the perception that it is. The Collective have been ramping up the heat on the board & it seems convenient to take this action now without seemingly having a full investigation.
The language in the statement is weird too. Hypothetically talking about police officers being trampled on & stuff. It follows the insane statement back in September & then Desmond’s deranged blog at the start of last week.
If only they were as decisive in doing anything that might better the club.
@Jake_Stevens is a board shill & backed them over the manager who wanted the club to invest in better players & show some ambition. He’ll be raging with the disruption there when Ross & Peter were trying to speak.
Bhoys surely we’re entitled to expect more than being the best side in the League of Scotland while simultaneously getting pumped in Europe by the likes of Cluj, Kairat, Sion, Legia Warsaw, Midtylland, Maribor, AEK Athens & whoever else. Although we did turn it around in the second leg against Lincoln Red Imps that time. It’s a really disingenuous premise put forward by the board…we’ve secured European group stage football in 19 of the last 20 seasons. FFS sake finishing ahead of Aberdeen or whoever guaranteed them entry into Europe & they’ve usually had the safety net of falling into the Europa League when they’ve failed against side with a fraction of Celtic’s wage bill. And why is the principal shareholder’s son given a platform to spout shite about the support. I’m very upset this evening @StoneCold.
Superb tactics from the boards point of view.Throw out a few insults and wait for the reaction thereby enabling them to shut down any discussion. Will there be another AGM/EGM or are the board automatically returned given there were no votes?
