Celtic Non-Matchday Discussion

So you don’t know,is that what your saying?iv been impressed with him last season all be it in the Scottish league. 10mill seem like a fair price.would like to see him at Everton. He’s good on the ball,s em good all round

I’m saying if Everton are getting £30m for Stones, then £10m is not a fair price for Van Dijk, it’s actually insulting.

Can’t see stones going tbh but if he does Chelsea will pay through their hole for him.
English players who are decent go for crazy money never mind the ones who are rubbish,Andy Carroll for example…

Van Dijk is worth more than £10m if being sold to England.

He has all the qualities to be a top defender. But his concentration is still a bit questionable. And he can be a bit rash sometimes. Physically, he’s perfectly built as a modern defender and he’s a good footballer.

Bizarre over-reaction in Scotland yesterday and today because John Collins said the Champions League was more testing than the SPL. A bunch of arseholes who didn’t even have the confidence to call themselves a country are now all up in arms because Collins has hinted that the SPL isn’t quite on the same level as the EPL.

Ewan Murray looks particularly foolish.

Is the Ajax game on either TV3 or 3E on Thursday ?

If not, anyone know who’ll be showing it ?

It’s on BT Sport 2. Not sure if TV3 have Europa League anymore.

Setanta ???

They are showing something, they haven’t said what yet though.

Aberdeen won their game in hand tonight.

Are you sure about BT Sport’s Europa League coverage being viewable in Ireland, @Rocko?

We’re on Setanta Ireland tomorrow

A Dublin man has been charged with IRA membership at an out-of-hours sitting of the Special Criminal Court.

Robert Day, 54, from Cabra, Dublin 7 was charged at the non-jury court this evening with membership of an unlawful organisation within the State styling itself as the Irish Republican Army, otherwise Oglaigh na hÉireann, otherwise the IRA on 9 October 2015.

Detective Garda Leanna Cruise told the three-judge court she arrested Mr Day under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at 2.15pm at Londonbridge Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

She said she showed Mr Day her official identification, explained to him the reason for his arrest and cautioned him, to which he made no reply,

Det Gda Cruise said she transported Mr Day to Irishtown Garda Station and on to the Special Criminal Court, where she showed him a copy of the original charge sheet to which his reply was “no comment”.

Wearing an orange Glasgow Celtic soccer jersey, Mr Day made no reaction when asked to stand up by the registrar of the Special Criminal Court.

When asked was he Robert Day, he said “I am” and the registrar proceeded to read the charge to him.

Ms Justice Margaret Heneghan, presiding alongside Judge Ann Ryan and Judge Flann Brennan, remanded Mr Day in custody until Thursday next when an application for bail is expected to be made.

Barrister Mark Lynam, for Mr Day, consented to the remand order.

Mr Lynam said he was reserving his position in respect of lawfullness of the arrest.

We have/had an orange jersey?

Londonbridge road is in Sandymount ffs. Shoddy journalism Mick.

Yellow is the closest I can think of.

Maybe they mean the orange jersey Ireland had back around 96 or so.

That cunt, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be in the opposing dugout tomorrow evening.
