Celtic Non-Matchday Discussion

The new Calvin Miller so.

Speaking of which, where is he these days?

I’d like to see us go down the R Madrid route, have a squad of 20 and then rely on the youth academy players to come in and fill the gaps whenever. Those who look up to it will stay and those who don’t will move on.

The youth team will be in the Scottish Lowland League or whatever next season which is too low a level but much better than the situation today.

Yeah could be another Miller. Tierney was only converted to left back by Deila though so he’s another more promising example. I think Miller was highly rated as a winger but wasn’t kicking on so he got shunted to left back and didn’t really excel. Montgomery seems to be rated higher since he made the switch so hopefully it’s a case that it suits him better and he can be a future option there.

How good was he really ?? He was a good honest footballer , decent athlete etc , ok technically . A brilliant medal haul .

My question is did he largely star in an era when Rangers were awol . He never play in an international tournament ( granted he had a poorish back up cast ) .

A good solid player.

A 7/10 player for Celtic over the years

But nothing special, would have easily held his own at the likes of Everton over the past decade but not really above that level.

Did Celtic fans attempt to murder Peter Lawwell? Strange no comment on it here

No.

I’m guessing it wasn’t football related. Seems to have been a few houses attacked in his area.

Lawwell’s daughter and grandaughter were living in the garage.

Alarming to learn we’ve had a Fritzl type character running our club for nearly 20 years.

Seems like those other attacks weren’t all that near his place. Still reckon it’s unlikely to be football related.

That’s shocking.

Why did he keep his daughter and granddaughter in the garage?

It’s great that nobody was hurt.

Hopefully costs Lawwell a fortune too.

Think Lennon, Kennedy and Strachan stay in the bedrooms in the main house.

Cos hes a miserable scabby cunt.

With all his money wouldn’t you think he’d help his daughter out with a deposit for a house or look after her…oh no, not biscuit tin Lawwell, stick them up over the garage. The main is a cunt.

They probably saw a really nice house and knew the owner was a Celtic fan and would love to sell it to them so they tried to bargain him down and kept him waiting, and waiting and waiting…and then the owner got pissed off and sold it to someone from Birmingham !!!

We’re run like the board from the 90’s with a shiny Celtic way. That’ll be 3 Strachan’s on the books

Deary me.

An old boys club is all it is

Strachan is a dinosaur. He’ll have a great time waffling in the media about technical players and passing the ball and how important it is to have close control and then he’ll ask Ange to play our tallest team in any important game.
