Have we announced our European squad yet?
I think we should effectively be able to include everyone really as our faith in the youth system should see us with enough homegrown players. I know this from my Football Manager success in the past year.
I’d imagine we don’t have to include Welsh in our main squad?
Any countries still with their transfer windows open where Barkas or Bolingoli could move on to?

I expect Griffiths, Christie and Edouard to be replaced by Giakoumakis, Jota and CCV. We also need to find room for Juranovic but I think Luca Connell can make way for him.
I’d say we’re stuck with the others but I’ll take some time to consider it.

I’d say Bolingoli is probably just shite and Ange obviously rates Taylor and Montgomery ahead of him. Scales now too probably.
I’d have Barkas ahead of Bain but Barkas really should have got a loan deal to get some football and get his confidence.
Presume the hope is to get Bolingoli off to Turkey

Bolingoli was definitely in. I didn’t hear of him being removed at any point
Yeah could swap him for Bolingoli or for Hazard. I think keepers can be registered in an emergency anyway but we don’t need 4 in the squad.
Just thinking about the other limits on locally trained players though. I don’t know if Edouard counted for Celtic especially because of the loan but Christie and Griffiths will have been locally trained. So might not be replaceable by any of our new players.
We should have Forrest, Ralston, Johnston and McGregor as club trained and Taylor, Turnbull, Bain and McCarthy as Scottish trained.
Don’t think Welsh has to be registered as u21 and homegrown? Can be put on the B list. Likewise Montgomery

I think we seem to be doing well out of the youth setup in recent years.
I’d like to see us have a squad of 22/23 good players and use the youth team to service that up. Murray and Montgomery look like good prospects at present and Leeds were reportedly pressing hard for the young left back Anderson this summer.

I’d say Ange would have dragged some lad out of Baird’s on the way to the game rather than bolingoli.
Do we see any of the new bhoys starting this weekend?
I’d start Jota and Ajeti I think. Giakoumakis I don’t think has trained much recently and not played this season.
