Private jet???
FFS like.
We absolutely need wingers and a centre half more. We are persisting with a utterly shite Forresr and a watery Elyonoussi since last season, both are windy and way off form. At least we have a genuine top class forward in Édouard, a proven goalscorer in Griffiths and Klimala who has shown promise in recent weeks and for the most part, we only play one up top anyway.
We badly, badly need a centre half. Jullien was ragdolled at the weekend, Ajer is unconvincing and the only back up we have there is are converted full backs and midfielders.
So there’s absolutely no way you’re kidding anyone that a striker is a bigger priority than at the back or out wide. You’ve been defending the indefensible from Forrest for a long, long time now.
Does the fact two Scottish teams make the champions league from now on mean rangers can spend even more now?
You said Klimala was a headless chicken!
We will still get a centre back. We’re not getting Ajeti instead of a centre back.
He’s shown promise in pre season but it’s nice to see you a avoiding the issue of the areas where we have far bigger issues.
We have two very unreliable and out of form players starting out wide for us. The only back up to them are a couple of youth academy players, a 17 year old who has played a handful of minutes and a 21 year old who can barely string 10 games together without being injures.
It’s obvious to pretty much any Celtic fan that we have much bigger causes for concern than up front.
The biggest worry for me is how bad James Forrest can play without being dropped it taken off.
Apologies. For the avoidance of doubt, your opinions on Forrest are extreme and don’t merit debate.
My views on Forrest are widely held among people who aren’t Lawwellbots that defend every terrible decision made by the board and management.
He is absolutely pants and you look like an even bigger fool with every dreadful performance he continues to add. A hide and seek merchant with very limited ability.
Oh great. I can’t wait for your next copy and paste from Twitter to lend the sort of credibility to your opinion that only Twitter can provide.
I’m delighted if we sign Ajeti.
Yes.
That copy and paste will show you how of touch you are and how everything you post with regard Celtic is intertwined with being an apologist for Lawwell and Lennon.
I read that Bayo has only played 206 minutes in the SPL for Celtic.
Would Shved even have got 90?
And we have to endure James Forrest cutting back inside and playing a shite sideways pass or hitting the ball out for a goal kick ad nauseam.
Lennon is out of his depth.
Would I be right in thinking that the drive for 10 hasn’t started very well.
Terrible but that’s what happens when a suit milks the club for every penny it can.
Seems like the Duffy interest is real but lots of competition for him
I wonder whether Byrne could be persuaded to give it a season. He’s got talent to burn. (I hope he doesn’t, and he may be perfectly happy to stay in Dublin, but it’d be nice to see him on life changing money).
I think Byrne is very comfortable money wise
was on 300k a year as a 17 year old
That’s good to hear. A young lad could burn through it handy enough with cars.
Against Derry the other day, it’s a long time since I saw someone so clearly on a different level to most around him. Worked like a dog as well.
I’d love to see how he’d go at EPL level, just thought if he’s a home bird, Glasgow might suit him better as it’s such a great place to live.
I’ve no doubt he is better than Wes.
He needs the right move tbh rather than just go for money
Byrne is the best play I have ever seen in Irish football but played in the spl with Kilmarnock and it didn’t work out so must be something missing.
I think he had mental health issues there
It’s genuinely worth watching The Edge on BBC iPlayer. Byrne just needs attention to his personal well-being from any club. Firing him out into Kilmarnock to fend for himself won’t work.
Maybe he’s better off where he is, but he certainly should be in the Ireland squad, (on the team I’d argue), and be given the encouragement and assurance of a decent run.
He’s our football equivalent of Kevin pieterson.
