Celtic Summer Transfer Window 2020 & Associated Malahide Public Amenities Discussion

I use the Baldoyle - Portmarnock one almost daily. I was just curious about the plans for either end of that 2.5km. It would make my commute much safer.

Consultants are in to look at Portmarnock - Malahide soon i believe

Vol James McClean being rumoured again, contact has been made seemingly. Was Stoke’s POTY last season and can’t get into their squad now. Would be perfect for the left wing back role, bring him home

He’s from Derry mate, not Glasgow

He’s a Republican, and one of our own

The Athletic wing of the IRA is getting back together.

What a time to be alive.

Burnley are tracking Celtic ace Ryan Christie and are set to make a big money bid in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

The Hoops star has been a long time target of Turf Moor boss Sean Dyche - who was in the running to land the star when he was still plying his trade with Inverness Caley Thistle.

Christie made the switch to Celtic five years ago but the Burnley gaffer has continued to monitor his progress and is preparing to swoop.

The 25-year-old is under contract at Parkhead until the summer of 2022 but discussions are ongoing regarding an extension.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon does not want to sell as Christie has emerged as a key man in recent seasons.

Dyche wants to strengthen his squad and sees Christie as a bargain buy compared to the expensive English market.

The Scotland international doesn’t turn 26 until February and has gone from strength-to-strength in recent seasons.

I’d say £20m is a fair price.

In normal times I’d agree but this is no normal season, we will need him.

Knowing Lawwell I’m convinced he will still look to flog at least one big name before the window shuts

Niclas Eliasson linked with a move, he’s a left footed wing back/winger who plays for Bristol City.

Looks like he is being identified as a left wing back option but seems to play most of his football on as a right sided attacker from what I’ve seen so could also function as an alternative to Forrest.

Ye might be able to buy Tierney back on the cheap when he recovers from last night.

Laxalt linked with a loan move. Thoughts @Fulvio_From_Aughnacloy?

Who?

Some SSN lad on Twitter was on about Celtic taking Snodgrass on loan and being after a centre back and left back.

But one of the radio reporters who would have been at the game today, and presumably spoke to Lennon and others, said Snodgrass isn’t happening and they’re only looking for a left back.

Uruguayan left wing back chap with the stupid hair. Used to play for Genoa and was good. Joined Milan and has been shit.

Cavani?

Laxalt?

He’s a decent player, well he was at Genoa anyway.
