He was third choice for Watford last season. He did look good at Killie but he’d be a big risk with how little he had played
I’m not hugely opposed to Hart.

I am hugely opposed to Hart.
He is an absolute bombscare of a goalkeeper, the type of keeper who will cost you 10 or 12 points a season.
I’d have Bain over Hart easily.
Forster looked like a clown in the EPL the last few years also tbf
I couldn’t tell you if he did or not and I’m not Forster’s biggest fans but he’s about 6 or 7 levels above Joe Hart.
You just know Hart will drop one in at a vital time in an old firm game.
Celtic fans will know what it’s like to follow Galway hurling every time a high ball is headed in the direction of the box.
So far it is:
OUT:
Simunovic
Hayes
Gordon
Bauer
Arzani
Forster
We were carrying a heavy squad as it was but that’s probably about 100k off the weekly wage bill.
I think his arrogance made him a figure of hate. He has had a few errors but I don’t think he has been that bad a keeper. I think his reputation is affected by his fall from the peak more than a real assessment of whether he’s reasonably competent or not.
Bain has looked ok at Celtic but I’d have more concerns about him in a big game than Hart.
Anyway Hart is just a rumour at this stage. Also linked with David Marshall and others. I’d prefer Hart to Marshall.
I’d prefer Marshall to Hart.
Hart is an accident waiting to happen, he is a car crash goalkeeper, just a complete and utter liability.
As Sutty said, do not touch with a bargepole.
Hart had great games, just puts the fear into you.
He’s a Galway goalie
He just doesn’t have it in his noggin. He’s a player who is constantly flirting with disaster and for a club like Celtic who needed to win a minimum of 30 league games, he’s the type of guy who is going to fuck one in the net when the pressure and tensions builds.
It’s not all that long ago that he was England and Manchester City No.1. He’s had a rough few years but still relatively young for a keeper and may prosper away from the intense EPL spotlight.
The intense spotlight of playing for Burnley or West Ham and mid table mediocrity or playing for a club who are judged on silverware in front of 60k fans every week.
He doesn’t have the mentality to play for Celtic.
The lads bankrolling it are putting absolutely everything they can into the club to stop the ten in a row. The club will be bankrupt one way or another by the end of that season you’d think. You’d almost have to admire that kind of hatred.
Hart was briefly first choice at Burnley before they made him backup or third choice. I think he was letting in all kinds of shots that other keepers save routinely. I’d prefer if they got somebody else. Is the Forster deal dead completely? I understood it that Southampton wanted to assess him over pre-season, as is their right, rather than him gladly going back there irrespective of Celtic’s interest. He seems very at home at Celtic.
Goalies are like hunting dogs. Once they lose their nerve they are no more good
Multiple places are saying today that the clubs agreed a deal but Forster decided to stay because he can compete over pre season.
I guess it’s not dead in the water but not sure Celtic can wait.
I would say Forster was in worse form/shape before he rejoined Celtic than Hart would be now.
Who’s Forsters non union Mexican equivalent? Surely some keeper in the SPL ye can buy
Hart’s had about 3 or 4 fresh chances and starts now and has been appalling in them all.
There’s a reason its clubs like Blackburn, Reading and Millwall after him.
Did Scott Brown get a hair transplant?
