Ambrose was good then turned crap but probably on average paid his way
Bitton has been useful for a sustained period
Gershon was just a loan and never played
Elhamed has been good but injury prone
Kayal was good then got injured and turned crap. But had a decent career and wasn’t a bad signing
It’s a little unusual but it’s more likely just a good working relationship with the agent who knows Celtic and knows Lennon and knows he can recommend players. None of been big money signings and anyone who Celtic paid money for has been at least reasonable value. It’s probably a better strike rate than the average bargain signing from other leagues.
Doesn’t say much for their own scouting system, but you see it in a lot of clubs alright, where they have one agent they rely on heavily. I suppose if he’s done alright by you before it gives you a bit of comfort.
