By all intents and purposes we were targeting a 19 year old City full back on loan over Juranovic, now I think itās pretty obvious why we would do that and the same motive is utterly depressing.

I may have misread the article. Ā£7m player was Veerman, Bacuna is much less as his contract is up next season.

Very meh, if Iām honest heās a carthorse. Most of the goals Iāve seen him score he ends up falling over.
Tbh Iām slightly encouraged that we are 12 days away from the deadline and we will look to have 3 deals with most of the groundwork done (Juranovic, Scales, Giakomakis).
We still need another 3 on top of that for me - a LB, CB and winger. I think we are ok in midfield but I also think it would be silly for us to pass up on Ally McCann if heās available (maybe we could agree a deal to buy him and leave him with St Johnstone until January if they get European football).
I donāt think weād move for another striker unless one of Edouard, Ajeti or Griffiths is out the door.

I think itās imperative that we sign a left back. But I donāt know if Scales is considered a CB/LB hybrid and, within that, a potential first choice LB. I donāt fancy Taylor as first choice anyway.
Taylor has looked like the weak link from the very. Heās absolutely terrible on the ball.
He never stood out at Killie, he was signed on the back of being a lad who had played 100 games or so at a young age.
I like the look of Doig at Hibs.
Iām not against Scales but I donāt think heāll be a first team option (at LB or CB) instantly which is what we need.
Iāve said it before but we should sign Tierney from Arsenal. Think he signed a new contract in the summer but theyāre a shambles of a club and Iād say heād jump at the chance to work with Ange.

Would be a bit wary of that one. Amazing last season with 26 goals in 30 games for a relegated club but itās basically the only season heās scored a decent amount of goals and heās 26. Did he just have a freak season last year or has something clicked with him?

10 penalties in that. I think heās a donkey if Iām honest.
I said NO to him the other day (based on reading one scout report and watching some clips of his play that were embedded into the report). He scored 4 goals in a game twice and a lot of penalties. He seems to be moderately fast, moderately strong, scores some scruffy goals, plenty of shit keeping in there too, not great in the air. Iād pass on him but Ange has Greek heritage and I trust Ange implicitly.
