We probably have enough there to seal CCV and Jota on permanent transfers without even going into a net spend.

Smashing transfer business concluded in the signing this summer but we need to keep investing in the first team and improving.

We have a big squad at the minute so getting players off the wage bill on a temporary and permanent basis is where the focus must shift.

I don’t think we should send Mikey anywhere. Even if we bring in another winger. We may have more injuries and ideally we’d be rotating more than in the first half of the season.

Turnbull has had a fine season so far. Again I think the ideal is we have more rotation options instead of dropping players. It’s the likes of McCarthy who might suffer most because he’s been peripheral already and may get fewer appearances.

But we can’t assume any or all three will be automatic starters too. Kyogo’s instant impact is exceptional.

I think Johnston needs it. We have Hatate, Kyogo, Jota, Maeda who can play on the left wing now. He’s not going to get much game time and he needs it

We should loan Mikey out and add a first team quality right sided attacker as I don’t think Forrest or Abada are good enough.

Some turn around from the time Celtic famously won the European Cup with 12 lads who frequented the same fish and chip shop as children.

The Lisbon Dragons

Hatate is the one who excites me most. He looks excellent. Maeda looks brilliant too, wonder will be usurp Forrest and Abada on the right. Probably not his natural position but his pace, energy and goal threat could be brilliant there.

I made a lovely chicken katsu curry for dinner as a welcoming gesture for our new Japanese contingent. It was sweet like Kyogo, but had a bit of Maeda’s bite. A creative flavour profile which reminded me of Hatate with velvety undertones reminiscent of Ideguchi’s passing.

Very exotic for your usually humble palate. Celebratory meal for you and @bandage? Hopefully its passing won’t leave your collective hoops paying inadvertent tribute to the new players.

Looks like Johnny Kenny is signing for Celtic.

Phew.

For a minute I misread that as Jonjo Kenny.

The player that united the Celtic support. What a disgrace of a player.

Circa €150k release clause in his last contract I’m sure

Celtic’s Ewan Henderson and Osaze Urhoghide, both pictured centre, are set to leave Celtic this month.

Urhoghide and Shaw joined Celtic from Sheffield Wednesday last summer, but have failed to break into the first team under manager Ange Postecoglou, while Henderson – a product of Celtic’s youth academy – has only featured once this season.

The Sun reports that St Johnstone are keen on taking Shaw to McDiarmid Park, with Saints manager Callum Davidson desperate to reinforce his squad in the face of a relegation battle. There is also loan interest in Urhoghide.

Henderson, meanwhile, has been linked with a switch to Hibs, although a move to Italy – where his brother Liam plays for Empoli – is not out of the question either.

Celtic forked out six-figure fees for Urhoghide and Shaw, but with the arrivals of Reo Hatate, Yosuki Ideguchi and Daizen Maeda last week, Celtic’ squad is bloated and Postecoglou is expected to move players out of the club.
