A scuffed volley into the ground from a Christie corner. But that was coming. Super start from Celtic.
The Aberdeen Red TV commentators are surprisingly balanced so far.

Cosgrove outjumped Ajer but it was one of those crosses where it just arced to Cosgrove and not to Ajer. He jumped reasonably well with him.
Don’t recall how the ball got to McGinn to cross but I think it was mostly just a well executed cross and header.
We went close another three times since the goal but just haven’t had the run of the ball around their box. Think Mikey will do well if we can get him on because they’ll get deeper and deeper and we need his feet around the box.
Frimpong has been a bit disappointing today. Beaten his man a few times but more often crowded out. Needs Forrest or someone out there with him and we continue to miss a left winger because Forrest is generally playing out there with Christie and Ntcham both central. Also given away a couple of fouls on McGinn getting wrong side but can probably blame others for losing possession and catching him out of position.
I fully expect us to go on and win though. We’ve played really well. Just need better finishing, and Edouard to shoot a little earlier.
He looked exhausted after the hearts game. Long wet season for a young lad, with sevco and several referees breathing down celtic’s neck

He’s excellent at that. Particularly recognising when to do it.
Red card for Cosgrove. Celtic nearly scored. Last ditch tackle by McKenna. Aberdeen broke then. Ajer with one of those last gasp lunges I hate him doing tipped the ball away from the attacker as he was about to shoot. He got up, kept the ball in on the end line and then Cosgrove dived in at him. Two footed but got the ball?
Hard to tell without a replay. Looked a bit like the Porteous one last night.
Ajer didn’t really need to slide like that I didn’t think. Won the ball cleanly but it’s too risky in the box.
