Get this clueless cunt to fuck.

Lennon out.

  • 1-2. Half Time.
  • Mulgrew scuffed a finish to pull a goal back.
  • Unacceptably anti-Irish behaviour from Dubliners Doran and Foran to score against us.
  • Another concession from a long throw.
  • It’s a 4-3-1-2 with Rogic behind the strikers.
  • Ledley replaced the injured Kayal early enough in.
  • They’re showing no real attacking intent, despite the goals, which is fair enough.
  • Most of the game is Celtic probing around the edge of their box.
  • Nobody’s really playing well though.
  • Watt missed a one on one just before they scored.

@Rudi, cover the second half please. I’m watching the hurling now.

@Bandage

You got a link, pal?

So 2-2 in the end yesterday. Again, Rogic didn’t do enough when given the chance. Floated through the game when he should have been demanding the ball. van Dijk went off injured in the second half and we equalised with the rejigged set up of Mulgrew at centre back, Lustig on and into right back and Matthews pushed forward to right midfield. Brown played Matthews in and he finished well. Kayal went off with a groin strain too. Watt did some good work when drifting left and Balde was okay - it was a fairly mixed display from both of them though.

that arsehole Fisty has been touting Rogic and the A league recently

2 questions for fisty

Why was Rogic chronically unfir when he arrived at Celtic?
Why hasnt the A leagues best player made an impact in the SPL

I watched the second half, thought Watt was easily our best player. Balde showed glimpses, he very nearly scored a goal similar to the one he got against Liverpool where he nutmegged the defender coming inside. Atajic came on and looked very lively, hope to see more of him during the season. Apart from that it was really poor, unimaginative in midfield and I wouldn’t be too convinced by Van Dijk at the back to be honest. Ambrose played well from the action I saw in the second half.

Team I would go with on Wednesday.

Forster

Matthews Ambrose Mulgrew Izzy

Commons Brown Ledley Samaras

Watt Balde

Erm, unfir? Do you mean unfair? In which case I reject this assertion, it is not in Tom’s nature to be unfair. Do you mean unfit? In which case, bollocks, he was fitter than any footballer on that island.

Give him time, he’s adjusting to the cold.

He certainly lacked the physical condition required for Celtic Fitzy. And still needs to work on bulking up and increasing his stamina on the basis of games this season and pre-season.

I’m surprised at that Rocko tbh. He is a very tall lanky lad with a fairly languid style. I’d imagine he’s finding it difficult to adapt to a more high tempo pace and it will probably take a while before he’s equipped to play 90 minutes regularly. But surely Celtic’s S&C program would be helping with that?

He certainly needed to work on his upper body strength. It seems to have improved but he’s still getting out muscled fairly regularly by slight enough players. The pace of the game may be affecting his perceived fitness alright. He’s not a write off or anything but you wouldn’t be throwing him into a CL qualifier or anything yet.

A more high tempo pace? How bad is the Australian league if playing Caley Thistle is more high tempo?

The Scottish Premiership is played at a breakneck pace, @Mac. It’s just the standard that’s appalling.
