Celtic v Dundee United

Everyone has been too absorbed by this climax to even set up a thread for this.

Filip Twardzik is starting for Celtic today and has done well so far.

Other than that not much interesting has happened.

I only saw from minutes 5 to 28 & I have now signed out. Dundee United were playing some decent football during that spell but Griffiths got into good positions on 3 occasions all the same.

Some lad should have scored for Dundee United there. A cross-shot was parried weakly by Forster straight to that aforementioned lad and he flicked it over from about 5 yards despite Forster being out of the picture.

Griffiths marginally offside there. Picked out by Johansen and finished well but flag went up.

Conchita Wurst coming on for Celtic

Griffiths makes way

Commons goes close after surprisingly excellent work from Mulgrew in midfield.

Stokesy!!!

Great cross from Commons after turning his man inside out and a nice headed finish from Anthony.

Stokes brings up the century

That was fucking awesome from Samaras. Slide tackle to win the ball in their box and wins a stonewall penalty.

No reason on earth that shouldn’t be a red card but whatever.

Sammy to take it…

Sammy scores. Legend.

Samaras did excellent to win that penalty and then convert it.

2-0

Sammy is crying. :clap::D:clap::clap::clap:

Definite red alright

Kayal on now - wonder if that’s a farewell too.

Are you not ???

Twardzik chips in with one of his own. Forster had no chance with that.

Mackay Stephen created the last two goals. A ridiculously heavy touch on the halfway set up the Samaras penalty and then a pull back that went straight to Twardzik for the Czech left back to finish. He just can’t seem to find a United player with his passes.

Farewell Georgios Samaras - our gorgeous Greek Prince.:(

@Rocko, any chance you could post up goals / highlights later please?
