Awfully soft defending for both goals. Scales hasn’t covered himself in glory. That was pathetic stuff for the second goal by the entire defence after a lazy free concession by Duran. This could be a VAR red card for Donovan…edit it stays a yellow.
The space between our midfield and defence is enormous.

We will definitely concede again in the game so need 4. Hogh is killing every attack can’t get the ball out of his feet, slowing attacks down and committing lazy fouls.
Duran is useless on the wing too.
Huns are 1 up too. If we don’t sack O’Neill during in the international break we are as well hand the huns the title.
A blind man can see the tactical deficiencies in the squad and yet McGregor and Hogh keep being persisted with.
Still think there are strong parallels with the covid season. Celtic were losing to all & sundry in Europe but still had a very strong domestic record for the first few months. Think the exception may have been a home defeat to the huns, which happened this season also. But the wins were papering over cracks, we were lucky on an xG basis & the whole thing fell apart. Similar this season with the xG too.
Celtic played with tempo at the start, got the goal & could have been further ahead. But they looked spent after 25 minutes…I wanted rotation at the outset. The distances between the different sectors increased & it was that strung out team we’ve seen against better sides. The defence were really bad for the two goals but the midfield has been brutal too. Usual stuff from McGregor & Nygren but Baur has had a nightmare…giving it away time & again. Hogh did well for the goal but he looks immobile & isn’t carrying any threat. It’s been really bad since they equalised.

We are coughing up chances every single games. The players look low on confidence and clueless as to what the style of play in. O’Neill has lost the dressing room.
