Massive half of football ahead.
Should have two already this half for Maeda and McGregor
Jesus
That’s really brutal. How can they keep conceding from set pieces?
Starfelt was so lax to give away the freekick to begin with. Needs to be far more aware.
Boom !…massive goal
Ggggiiiiaaakkkoouuummmaakkkisssssss
That’s a terrific three points. Hard fucking work but more great spirit to keep at it.
Dekghted for Giakoumakis
Any link to the 3rd goal
Last minute goals since Christmas have led to a 6 point swing
That hat trick makes the Greek a new signing going forward … it’s been coming but his confidence will be sky high now …
Most important thing was a win today .by hook or by crook …
1-1
2-1
3-2
Some running from Juranovic for the third goal.
I didn’t think the winner was coming today, that was fantastic for all sorts of reasons.
Superb by Juranovic alright, the initial dispossession is excellent but the running after he plays the ball off is crucial to taking their players out of the way. That combined with the Abada/Ralston link up is one of those trademark Ange combinations/rotations involving three players. Brilliant play by Ralston and Giakoumakis then too to get across the defender and put it away.
This spate of late goals must be driving huns dull. It would be just terrific if a forewarned Dortmund hell bent on revenge turned them over on Thursday night and their smashing win on Thursday ultimately counts for nothing with dropped league points in between. Or would we want them to go on another round?
God Bless you Geo…
Yeah the overlap at the end makes the space for the cross.
To be fair the effort levels seemed good today. Rogic and Starfelt made up good ground on that counter attack through the middle. That was the big centre back they had just brought on who was marking GG I think and it was decent movement and strength from GG to get the yard to finish.
Very frustrating day until then. Their second goal was well taken in fairness and a great ball in. But Starfelt was poor giving away that free kick there.
On balance Glasgow shaded the day over Dundee but I imagine all four teams will be pretty happy with the day’s proceedings.
I’d nearly prefer them getting through and getting distracted by europa league as some of their players struggle to come back down for the league games …
I’ve reached a zen like state on their European adventures. I’m at a point where I’m able to revel in their defeats and remain ambivalent about any successes. It’s like living on a higher emotional plane.
Having lived in Glasgow, I’m afraid I will never attain that level of zen, albeit I prefer van bronkhorst to Gerrard.
