Scales and Turnbull keep their places

Kyogo back on

Orange bastards…

Some save by Hart after barely having a touch all half

Some difference between this season and last. I know Jota is gone but the pace and style of football is excruciating. I don’t know where a goal is coming from, Hatate is a big miss as well. Would be typical Celtic to undo the good work of Ibrox and drop two points here today.

Reminiscent of Rodgers era before. But sure what do we know

Think the players need to be playing quicker. Phillips is taking 5 or 6 touches & walking forward with the ball before playing telegraphed passes. We know teams will sit deep at Celtic Park, you need to move them around. Should still have taken one of the chances probably. Yang has been mixed, Turnbull quiet & McGregor hasn’t maintained his Ibrox level. Wouldn’t be waiting too long to bring on Hatate & Oh. Maeda has been the brightest spark but too early for panic bhoys.

Lager on for Philips

We got there eventually

A typically clinical Brendan Rodgers style second half performance. Didn’t watch the half time talkie bit so dunno if Phillips was injured but he was quite rusty & clumsy in the first half. Lagerbielke was solid when he came on & Scales had another strong game. Johnston hit the woodwork twice in the second half & played a lovely ball to Kyogo who cut it back for O’Riley’s finish. Lovely ball earlier by McGregor for Kyogo’s header. Good to get Hatate back involved & debuts off the bench for Palma & Bernardo. I’d be less concerned about these European games if CCV was fit & Hatate was fully up to speed but that went fairly well today in terms of getting minutes into players.

Got there eventually, subs made a difference. The European game during the week will give a much better clue as to how Celtic under BR mark 2 are faring.
