Maeda returns to the action in a fashonable bandage headband 10 minutes after getting clattered in the head in the act of scoring.

“I don’t know what Rab C. Nesbitt is in Japanese.”

Celtic will win this 6-1.

Not a brilliant half from Celtic. Had a few chances but got a bit sloppy as the half went on. Fortunate with the one off the bar from Murray.

Bit more pace to our play again at the very end of the half but think we’ll need another goal.

Disappointing to to see another hamstring injury.

Hatate has been really good, but it hasn’t been great otherwise. Some long injury stoppages haven’t helped either I guess. Scales has been pretty sloppy back there, getting caught in possession & short with the attempted header back when Murray hit the bar. Pity about Saracchi, he’ll be a loss the way he’s been playing.

Heart Of Midlothian have conceded a late equaliser at home to Kilmarnock.

Nervy second half. Think the referee got a bit overawed by the occasion too and made some bizarre decisions in the last quarter of the game. He and Peter Grant did their best to spoil Martin’s last evening in charge but that was a smashing night’s results again.

Brilliant spell from O’Neill. :four_leaf_clover: :shamrock: :ireland:

Except for the late Sevco penalty.

Under St. Martin O’Neill, Celtic achieved the following:

A 100% domestic record
An 11 point swing in the title race
Beat Rangers at Hampden Park in a Cup semi-final
Destroyed Dutch GIANTS Feyenoord 3-1 at the De Kuip
The tracksuit top became an icon

A successful spell, to say the least.

Roll > Rohl

Perhaps the greatest spell as interim manager at any major club in history.

Looked soft.

But more points dropped by them is no harm.

Level on points with Hearts with a game in hand. We can go top on Sunday.

To think people on here were backing the rat.

We know what the board are, we always have, some of us called them out in the covid years with the Lennon debacle and for lack of investment for years before that but the rat was a divisive poisonous horrible cunt and thank fuck he’s gone forever.

O’Neill has that mix of charisma & shyness. He was reluctantly centre stage at the end but you could tell he’s thoroughly enjoyed these last 5/6 weeks & was moved by the reception/ovation.

I think it was a little flat in the second half & he referenced it being the third game in six days after two tough away games. I reckon that effort in Rotterdam in the pissing rain on a heavy pitch took a toll.

This spell now until the next international break is unrelenting & the squad will really be tested. I think O’Neill has done outstandingly well to navigate these 8 games so well & others have blinked while Celtic have been racking up results.

It’s over to Nancy now but hopefully O’Neill’s tenure will go a long way to putting the foundations in place for a successful season.

Celtic’s victory tonight brings Martin O’Neill’s league points total as Celtic manager to 502.

The club should release a commemorative 502 line of jeans in the great man’s honour to go with the ICONIC tracksuit top he made his own, as he takes his levi’s.

It wasn’t pretty last night if we’re honest. Feared they might sucker punch us with that header late on. Gladly not. Meanwhile the mini huns are in freefall.

A real man praising the players. To think that rat cunt called them Honda Civics.

A wonderful man
