Great finish from Forres to seal it. He did that heel flick turn a few times today. Sammy and Izzy both showed impressive strength to create the chance.
Reasonable performance. Could have been more but their keeper was excellent. Still badly lacking a sharp striker.
and that is the “problem” with Nir Biton, if it can be described as such
He tends to almost stay back and obeserve what is happening in front of him.
you wont really see him getting into the box , making runs and all this, he is at his best with the ball at his feet emerging from in front of the back 4 to foray into the opposition half and play a killer ball, he has a smashing shot on him as well.
once he has done that tho he will raely get himself about, he’ll head back to the center circle and wait to see if he can pick something else up from a break, i think he could be a great player, he is very young, very slight of frame but i often wonder could he add more to his game in terms of offering himself for a pass or trying to tackle a guy.
watch the england/israel euro u-21 game from this year in Jersualem, israel won 1-0 and he gave a a masterpiece, He used to pick the ball up from the back 4 and run at england with that big, long stride, the whole english midfield were in retreat mode with him that night…Jordan henderson ( even tho i rate him) was in bits on the the back foot all night trying to figure to the guy out… there is a a Zidane in him i think

the massively competitive nature of the league is personified here as Celtic’s main title rivals and bitter enemies Inverness Caledonian Thistle are 4-0 down at home at HT to former European Cup Winner’s Cup winners Aberdeen.
