Celtic V Hearts

Forster
Fisher Ambrose Van Dijk Izaguirre
Brown Biton Ledley
Commons Pukki Stokes

Ireland’s Eoghan O’Connell on the bench.

will Billy King be featuring?

He’s on the Hearts bench mate. They’ve only gone with 5 subs today but he’s one of them.

Looks like plenty of fans have opted for the Christmas shopping today

No surprise with the array of options at Buchanan Galleries. Plus the lovely market at the Barras too.

How are the Hogmanay preprations going mate?,

Bit muted with the poor results for the coefficient recently mate.

Great ball by Izzy there and Pukki was caught on his heels.

Ledley’s point blank header excellently saved.

That chance for Pukki summed him up really. Just not sharp enough in their box. Ledley was unlucky with his one.

Playing reasonably well, first goal is just a matter of time.

Forrest on for Biton at the break. The youngster did fine but most of the game took place well in front of him.

Hearts are pinned completely back inside their box since half time.

Andy Walker can only comment with reference to the scoreline. We’re not great today but we’ve been utterly dominant and a touch unfortunate but Andy is talking like we’re really struggling all game.

Another good save from McDonald. Forrest causing them problems now.

Great ball by Forrest but some defender intervened to prevent Stokes nodding it into an empty net. Very good save by MacDonald from Commons then. Forrest looks lively since coming on.

Commons!

Smashing pass from Brown there. Commons has been inventive and dangerous all game. We’d be really struggling without him.

Good finish by Commons from Brown’s pass. He’s always a great first goalscorer bet. Very tidy finish actually when you see it again.

It’s always noticeable when watching Celtic games how many times the referee either obstructs a player or gets hit by the ball. Scottish referees truly are abysmal.

Samaras for Pukki. I was hoping the goal last week might spark an upsurge in Pukki’s form but he was ineffective today.

Hearts launched their first attack of the game in the last minute and forced a corner. Commons headed McGowan’s header from the corner off the line.

Forrest wraps it up in injury time
