Matthews and Forrest are out. Brown remains out in the medium term after his recent operation. Commons is expected to return after the knock he picked up last week.
Not really sure what team I’d go for after some really poor recent displays. Lennon was praising our home form yesterday but results at home have been better than performances and away from home we’ve been dismal.

This bandying about of the captaincy is embarrassing, Lennon is a joker.
Commons with the opener. Mulgrew beat a man, crossed it to Hooper who held it up well and played Commons in. Took a couple of nice touches to get it out of his feet and rolled it home nicely.
Mulgrew delayed ages over a shot there after super work from Hooper and Stokes to set him up on the left. Hooper has been excellent so far.
Now Hooper misses a chance. He dropped deep, turned his man and played a ball out to Stokes who returned a lovely pass but Hooper’s finish with the outside of his right boot was weak.
Better performance today but we’ve been worse in the second half in recent games so I won’t hold my breath.
Stokes and Hooper combining well and Commons has benefited from their threat too. Few sloppy moments from Wanyama, need a second to kill this.
St Mirren have equalised against Motherwell… need another from them.
Commons makes it 2-0. Long diagonal pass to Lustig on the right who rolled it inside and Commons swivelled and drilled home…
Lustig heads home a third shortly after Commons missed a great chance for his hat trick.
