MON may not get his team play attractive glam football but it’s all about results
Nothing else.
Hope he can stay around

Worst Celtic team in decades.

Incredible lack of discipline by Trusty. I can’t believe he did that, unforgivable tbh. And because we’re slow, one-paced, lack power & athleticsm & fatigued off the back of a European game less than 3 days ago…we’re not equipped to be efficient with ten 10 men. 4-4-1 with a midfield of McGregor & Hatate centrally with Forrest & Nygren on the flanks…not good enough & couldn’t sustain the pressure we had them under for most of the second half before the red.

I think they got a lucky bounce of the ball in midfield to set them away for the winner but there was space behind our midfield as soon as we went to 10 men. I’ve no idea why that wasn’t a penalty after the sending off. The big screen said “no penalty - incident outside penalty area” but it was a corner & Scales was pulled down attacking it 6 yards out. Unless the big screen was wrong & the VAR hun had some gaslighty justification like the pulling started before the ball was kicked & thus not in play.

That’s a right sickener & not at all deserved really on the balance of play…but you could equally say they pulled some wins out of the fire lately when they didn’t deserve them & it wasn’t sustainable. You can’t really excuse the level of performance lately & too many of these players are either past it, checked out mentally or not good enough. It was an average Hibs unit & Celtic should be putting them away.

I see the huns drew 2-2 at Livingston - what a missed opportunity. And a brilliant weekend for Hearts.

Great win for the Irish team in Scotland

Didn’t see all of that. But a shambles. A predictable one.

I didn’t think Cvancara should have been taken off. We really need to play though a striker and Maeda doesn’t do that. It killed us when we were down to 10. We basically had no shape from then on.

I’ve no idea why we weren’t given a penalty. The Trusty one was odd because that happens a lot but he was too aggressive and frankly too stupid. And it’s a pattern. Scales was really poor for that change that Schmeichel saved and I thought we defended badly all game against a team that didn’t offer much. The two full backs included in that.

We have a group of players who aren’t close to being good enough. Our subs had no impact because they’re not very good. Our midfield is imbalanced and can’t control a game. We went down to 10 and it was like we lost a central midfielder and two wingers in one moment. Once we didn’t have enough bodies we just gave up really. A contrast to Hearts who have won games recently when down to 10.

League is still to play for because the Huns are shit and Hearts are just a strong Hearts team but they’re still Hearts. But this is one miserable squad of players.

The MON nostalgia trip was superb in November or whenever but there were signs it was petering out back then. Aside from the first game back post Nancy in January (4-0 v Dundee United), this has been consistently poor stuff tbh.

The team isn’t really playing to any pattern or style & now his subs/selections are becoming questionable too. Iheanacho is probably a better striking option than lads used today yet he wasn’t involved. The two Japanese lads’ demeanour screams…we don’t give a fuck…but he brought them both on today. Still using Forrest etc etc.

And what about the January transfer window? Another shambles when you consider Mvuka hasn’t been seen since 45 minutes on debut 2 weeks ago, Adamu not used today or midweek, Cvancara okay but 1 goal in 7 & passing up a few decent chances. We needed genuine quality but this collection of players don’t have it.

I still think Hearts’ games going forward are 50/50. Like they lost to St Mirren 1-0 & beat Falkirk 1-0, luckily beat Hibs 1-0 & lost 4-2 to the huns. I wouldn’t be surprised if they went 4 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses or something from their last 10. Trouble is how shit Celtic are…I wouldn’t be surprised if Motherwell finish ahead of us, never mind us catching Hearts. Not having the distraction of European football next season might even become a thing! That’s a shocker of a result for the huns, albeit they salvaged a draw.

Fuck Celtic

Celtic fans starting to turn on MON now because he didn’t like their childish prank last week.

I’m very angry with Martin O’Neill.

The big mistake was getting rid of Brendan Rodgers.

The treble treble winning “Rat “ ?? The geniuses on the terrace couldn’t wait for him to be gone .

The rat was 8 points behind Hearts and had lost twice in the league when replaced by M O’N. He was divisive and had checked out. He then called the players Hinda Civics.

M O’N came in and worked a miracle. Only for the Nancy debacle Celtic would be home and hosed. Did M O’N disrespect the players after yesterday? Not in front of the cameras but Id say he went through them in the dressing room.

The rat should never have been brought back to the club but he wanted to redeem himself and the sneaky board knew they had him by the balls when he said he would be there for three years.

Others here would have rather be nine points behind Hearts today with a game in hand than six. Its still in Celtic’s hands but its tough. Sunday is huge. Need to win and then win against Aberdeen on the 4th. Motherwell is a worry on the 14th although they still have to play Hearts before the split.

Id rather march with O’Neill than jump ship and drown with a rat.

That’s a bit melodramatic. So far, Martin O’Neill has only had to face one of the other Top 4 chasing the title in the 12 league games he’s presided over this season. That was the only game prior to yesterday that he hadn’t won, a draw at Tynecastle.

Wiflired Nancy in the 6 league games, he presided over faced each of Glasgow Rangers, Heart of Midlothian and Motherwell and lost all three.

I said last week that Glasgow Celtic had a challenging enough run of 7 games up to the split, after Martin O’Neill facing quite kind scheduling over his first 11 league games. They duly started that run with a home defeat to Hibernian.

The only win from the 7 league games against Top 4 this season, a home win over Motherwell was presided over by Brendan Rodgers.

Unreal insight into the Scotch football scene

Scottix?

Won 7 out of 8 games including beating rangers in the cup and Feyenord in Europe. The way Celtic were playing that was a miracle.

The League of Scotland title race this season has really piqued my interest. I’ve carried out a bit of due diligence to get myself up to speed on the ins and outs of it all.
