Hmmm that’s not great. Can’t really expect too much from Hatate or especially Abada after their layoffs. I’m dreading Phillips making an appearance at the back.
Has Phillips already gone back to Liverpool? Don’t think he was in the squad the other day & Welsh came on for CCV. Welsh & Scales did grand against Feyenoord so they can hopefully manage the huns.
Yeah it’s more the sub I’m thinking about. Welsh has tended to come off in games

I’m 100% sure the Celtic team will be:
Hart;
Johnston, Welsh, Scales, Taylor;
O’Riley, McGregor, Bernardo;
Maeda, Kyogo, Palma.
Maeda has looked very rusty/shite since returning, he’ll need to be better. He’s usually played off the left & had duels with Tavernier but I think Rodgers will keep Palma on that side. I reckon Bernardo has claimed that midfield slot which had been shared between a few of them in Hatate’s absence. He prefers Welsh to Lagerbielke & Nawrocki & I don’t think Hatate or Abada will start.
I think that will be the team too. Even aside from the goal, I thought Bernardo had his best game for us last time out but it’s still another area of weakness for him.
I can confirm Lagerbielke’s cousin and her boyfriend will be in attendance. They were full of chat this morning.
The Nawrocki one is interesting because he was first choice until he got injured and had looked decent. Not sure why he can’t get back into the squad even.
