There seems to be a Celtic fan in the commentary box or something:
I think that’s Scott Brown. Chat from the studio coming into the box?
Stokes latches onto a back pass but fires across the face of the goal from a tight angle.
Hooper showed decent pace there but that was a good challenge (albeit a bit desperate) from Meekings.
One of the better performances in a 0-0 45 minutes from Celtic this season. Created all the chances, though no standout chances maybe other than the Hooper one that was close. Faded a bit nearer the end of the half, bypassing the midfield a bit and maybe going wide or forward too quickly but Wanyama and Ledley asserted themselves again for the last couple of minutes and we looked dominant again.
Nobody playing poorly. Commons has been bright - again he’s drifted out of it a bit but he can’t stay prominent for the whole game in that role and he will get chances again. Stokes and Hooper looking good together, Forrest looks like he’s recovered his form and the two guys in midfield have been dominant, though not constantly involved. Back four have had nothing to do. Mulgrew and Lustig have contributed a little going forward but we could push on a bit more if we can get more possession in their half.
I think the defender’s arse plays Stokes on there but it’s very tight.
Izzy for Forrest so that will be Mulgrew into midfield. Surprised we didn’t bring on Sammy there.
Seems to be 4-3-1-2 with Commons playing behind the front two. Relying on full backs bombing on for width now.
Commons with a chance there but his shot was blocked and Hooper should have kept his rebound down.
Ambrose sometimes misses free headers but that was probably his worst effort. Simple chance.
That’s a sitter missed by Efe. As bad as the Juve chance.
HOOPER!!!
Lovely goal.
Good pass from Mulgrew to Commons and he picked out Hooper really well who finished smartly. Lovely goal.
The glaring miss aside, Ambrose continues to play really well.
Super Joe Ledley!
Hooper with his left and now Ledley with his right!
Hooper with his left and now Ledley with his right. Lustig picked him out for a straightforward finish after Caley got sucked into the box.
