I see Linz seem to have started their season off well domestically with 3 routine wins from 3.
Had a brief look through their squad and they seem to have a very physical side. They seem to switch between 3 at the back and a back 4.
The same 3 CBs have started the first 3 league games and stand 6ft5, 6ft4 and 6ft2 respectively. They also have a 6ft4 striker up top too so set plays are going to be very important for us defensively as they will pose a big threat there.
They don’t seem to have the mos physical of midfields thug as their captain Horvath is 5ft5 and he seems to be partnered with a 5ft10 Croat and 6ft Czech so I don’t think we will be overran or bullied in that department there like we might be against other opposition.
I’m expectin Baur to start but Hassan to be on the bench and Duran chosen on the right. Hassan looked a little rusty on Sunday in his cameo. Donovan will keep his jersey at right back. Two decisions for MON will be Yang/Tounekti on the left and whether it’s Trusty or Scales to partner CCV. I think it will be Trusty and Tounekti. They probably deserve it on the basis of the weekend.
