Not sure Virgil should be going to attack that with Bitton under it.
Came from Ambrose acting like a pleb out on the flank anyway when he managed to allow his man to waltz past him despite the ball breaking kindly for Ambrose and Virgil had to bail him out.
Really bad outcome from a game we really dominated.
As rocky as we looked all game, we took it to another level completely when Ambrose came on. We were prone to errors throughout but they weren’t calamitous. Once Ambrose was involved we looked really nervous, he was too easily beaten and his distribution was, of course, appalling. If Janko can’t replace Lustig competently next week then we’ve made a horrible decision in selling Matthews. Hopefully it was just Ambrose’s versatility that had him on the bench tonight, not ranking him ahead of Janko.
Hamann and Sadlier blaming Johansen - I don’t think it was anything to do with him. The ball was thrown onto the pitch beside him, he didn’t go looking for distractions.
Celtic are better than them. Now there’s expectation on Malmo and Celtic will be forewarned. We’ll beat them by a goal or two over there. No need for pessimism, pal.
3-0 would have been a fair result. Once lustig was off the dark old days of the sieve were upon us.I had Forest written off as finished but he was decent tonight
It may not be the last time but Basel 2002/03 immediately springs to mind. Same stage of the tournament. Celtic won first leg at home 3-1 and lost 2-0 in Switzerland.

Its one thing giving you a schooling on test match cricket and the geography of Conservative and Unionist Party Members of Parliament but when I’m giving you a lesson on Glasgow Celtic, you’ve got a serious credibility problem.
