Gordon;
Matthews, Ambrose, Van Dijk, Izaguirre;
Brown, Mulgrew;
Tonev, Johansen, Stokes;
Guidetti

Zaluska, Bitton, Scepovic, Commons, Berget, Kayal, McGregor

Couple of decent attacks so far but mostly sluggish enough stuff. Decent effort from Tonev on the break just now.

Is Forrest injured again?

He did the press conference yesterday and no mention of an injury then. He is booked in for an Argyle Street Celtic Store appearance tomorrow so hopefully whatever ailment he has doesn’t keep him out of that engagement.

Bitton on for Mulgrew who didn’t play well.

Great chance for Tonev but fires wide. Wonderful pass by VVD.

Tonev is having a fine game tonight.

He was poor in the previous league game against Dundee too and Bitton was fine on Sunday at Hearts and didn’t deserve to be dropped.

Actually fine is a bit much. He’s doing well in a team that are dominating but a bit blunt in attack. Johansen doing well also. And Stokes and Guidetti are linking well without creating much.

VIRGIL!!!

Nice free from Johansen bent into a good area (after a bad foul on Brown). Virgil couldn’t meet it cleanly but it broke for him to tap home from close range.

Description, please. I’m watching Shane Long being headless against Arsenal.

Scepovic and Commons on for Guidetti and Tonev.

Commons gets the ball in space about 8 yards out and somehow sidefoots it straight at the keeper. Poor miss.

Two close calls from Scepovic. Cross just too high for him to head home and then knocks the return cross over the bar, reaching back for it. Added a bit of a central presence since replacing Guidetti who was dropping off more.

Alloa go 3-2 up against Sevco and Celtic Park is bouncing to the tune of Don’t Sack McCoist.

Finished 1-0. Needed a good save from Gordon near the end:

Have to be happy with any sort of derby win. Time to push on now over the Christmas with 2nd place in the EL and safe progression into the next round of the two domestic cups assured :clap:
