The huns are shit but I fully expect them to beat us today.
There are currently a lot of rumours doing the rounds about MON jacking it tomorrow. Now sure if these rumours originated before or after his pre match comments where he cited his age, recent illness and energy for the job. I think a defeat will mean he steps aside - think it’s best this happens regardless of today’s result.
The team look a complete and utter table at present, poorly coached, no shape without the ball. A midfield that offers its defence no protection and nobody there to take the ball off the CBs and make the play.
Ox has to start today for me and he’s a player I thought should have been released during the summer. He’s done well in his couple of starts she looks the only player we have who is comfortable on the ball. McGregor needs to be dropped. He is a liability out there. Offers no protection and sells Scales, Trusty, CCV down the river by leaving them with the ball rather than taking it from them. Unfortunately it will be another Scott Brown Covid scenario where we will keep selecting him because he’s captain.
If MON doesn’t have the balls to bench him today after that performance on Thursday then that says it all about his management ending prematurely this season.
I’d hope for
Sinisalo
Donovan
CCV
Trusty
Tierney
Oxlade
Baur
Hassan
Nygren
Tounekti
Duran
I’ve gone Tounekti over Forrest as Forrest is better as an impact player.
Yeah, shows how uncoordinated the transfer window was yet again. Were they buying with any kind of strategic plan at all at all? Why were certain players bought & was any thought put into how to utilise them? This is a wild, fearful & kinda rogue selection. I don’t think it’s smart alecy saying a positive result wouldn’t allay concerns about what’s going on. Long story short nothing meaningful will change until the largest shareholder fucks off.
