I hate that petulant, selfish shite. Easy to pretend to care like that. GMS might not be all that good but he ran hard today. Johansen would rather be a faux hard man when the game is gone.
Pathetic performance anyway. Blitzed them for 5-10 minutes and then fell apart completely. Red card was possibly harsh but the defending in the build-up was pathetic and we were dreadful all game. We didn’t create anywhere near enough and we always looked like conceding more. We’re certainly not showing even the merest hint of improving at the back under Deila. We’re fucking abysmal.
It’s weird but we win the league through sheer weight of numbers and level of financial resources in comparison to the opposition. So there isn’t that element of games being crunch ones or high stakes encounters - we put enough wins together in an environment where’s no real do or die pressure. But put us in a high pressure situation and everything changes. Add in a bit of adversity like giving away an early goal or getting a man sent off and we invariably crumble. Legia Warsaw, Maribor, Malmo, Molde, Caley Thistle, today - we’re soft and we’re shite and that’s Deila’s fault.
