Boyata and Lustig have both been poor recently so I guess it’s a case of who suits our gameplan best in how we want to defend.
I can’t see one of Armstrong or McGregor not starting. I wouldn’t mind your proposal but I’d reckon it’s unlikely. Dembélé and Griffiths have only really played together a handful of times and I imagine they’d have been tried more recently if it was in the plans (though fitness hasn’t allowed that).
We usually go back four against them, even when we’ve been playing a three in games preceding matches against them. I think a 3-4-2-1 would suit with Roberts and Rogic playing. I’d be inclined to leave Sinclair out.
