Same 10 outfield players I make it? He doesn’t do much rotation & is slow to use subs in game too (cc @Bisto). We should be fresher but that’s only part of it.
Think sometimes in derbies there’s a tendency to deliver more praise than warranted for the winner & go overboard in criticising the loser during the post mortems. These games can be tight & decided by fine margins in many cases. I think we’ll also miss Giakoumakis for defensive set pieces & will need to be strong here again.
Like two weeks ago, I’d be expecting O’Riley & Turnbull after 60-70 minutes. Is it 3 or 5 subs in the cup?

Huns using Bassey as a gunner from inside centre. Completely leaving the defensive line to hunt down Rogic. We haven’t caught them out yet. Ryan Jack is a thug, very nasty on Hatate there. Madden with an increasing amount of subtle interventions. We need to play much better than this.
