Giakoumakis is not available after picking up an injury last week. He was in brilliant form so a big loss. Be interesting to see if Kyogo starts instead or if Abada returns with Maeda through the middle. At least we have a couple of options.
They’ll be missing Helander. Barisic limped off last night but I think that could have been cramp. They probably won’t change too much from the last game otherwise - but playing Barisic at left back does make them more threatening in wide areas.
For all the talk about the huns being tired they’ll start this game at 100 miles an hour I imagine. That’s what they did a couple of weeks ago and they caught us off guard. Similar success against Braga midweek. And we won’t have Giakoumakis to relieve pressure by playing it direct so we’ll need to pass our way through their early press.
I think our bench could kill them. They might have Kamara and Arfield maybe as their impact options but we have a much better goal threat to bring on when they’re tiring.
Can see a tense game this afternoon. I’m predicting something like the game a few years back where it took a last minute flick by Moussa Dembele to win it right at the end. Can’t remember if it was Scottish cup or League Cup? GG a huge loss.
