Celtic V St Johnstone

Forster;
Lustig, Wilson, Mulgrew, Izaguirre; Forrest, Wanyama, Brown, Ledley; Stokes, Hooper

Brown back! Commons ill. No Rogic or Watt in the squad. Not sure if either of them were playing youth matches this week.

Subs: Zaluska, Matthews, Ambrose, Samaras, McCourt, Kayal, McGeouch

Forrest back too and Matthews in the squad for the first time since Juve away. Great to have Brown available again.

4-4-2 or 4-3-3

Good start, nice finish by Ledley for the goal.

Stokes has been excellent, he has just such good awareness and footballing intelligence to his game.

Lovely goal.

Brown looks sharp after his absence.

That’s a really gusty wind.

Ireland’s number 1 in goal
the best of luck to him

Nice move there ends with Stokes clipping it just wide. We’re playing nice football.

Mulgrew’s free kick from the right hand side goes in directly.

Seems to be more a lopsided 4-3-3 with Stokes playing quite narrow on the left and Forrest sticking wide on the right with Brown bursting forward just inside him. Working well, Brown is a very underrated player.

Brown’s return to the team and Mulgrew dropping back has improved the team greatly. We’re playing really well. That was a cracking couple of shots from Forrest.

Forrest really enjoying himself on the right hand side.

Mulgrew’s pass to Stokes just before the second goal was sublime and deserves a post of its own.

Ah this is really good stuff.

Brilliant play by Hooper and a tremendous finish by Forrest. Positive stuff by Brown in the build up too.

Smashing goal. Hooper and Brown both did well, particularly Hooper who timed the pass perfectly and that was a very composed and assured finish from Forrest.

Aw that was brilliant from Stokes. Awful finish from Forrest.

Rotten refereeing. Ref tells Wright and Lustig that he’s watching them. Wright smashes him with an elbow and Lustig gets booked for complaining.

Walker says it was a slap and Lustig should have protected himself better.
